The October meeting of the Humanist Society of Gainesville will be at our usual time and place, the third Wednesday of the month, October 16, 2013, at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship social hall at 4225 N.W. 34th Street, at 7 p.m. Our subject will be “If and/or how can science help up us determine human values or was David Hume correct when he said, you can’t get an ought from an is”. As usual there will be plenty of time for questions and discussion.
As we do at every meeting, we will be accepting contributions, food or money, for the Food4Kids Backpack program.
We look forward to seeing you at our October meeting.
Jim Sullivan, President
