Humanist Society of Gainesville

The July meeting of the Humanist Society of Gainesville will be at our usual time, the third Wednesday of each month, July 17, 2013, at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship social hall at 4225 N.W. 34th Street, at 7 p.m.  Our speaker this month will be the president of the First Coast Freethought Society(FCFS), Earl Coggins.  The FCFS is a Jacksonville group, much like our HSG but much larger than we are.  Earl will be talking to us about what has been successful for their group as well as what hasn’t worked so well and what he sees as the ideal future for the Freethought, Secular Humanist, Atheistic, Agnostic movement.

As we do at every meeting, we will be accepting contributions, food or money, for the Food4Kids Backpack program that continues to operate through the summer school program.
